Goals and StrategiesThe Bahraini uprising attempted for the abdiction of King Hamad, obtain democracy, deport foreign mercenaries, end economical and human rights violations, and have fair elections and freedom. King Hamad used systematic torture on citizens in order to attempt to end the uprising, but it resulted in even more uprisings. Whenever a new constitution or document was signed, the government ended up ignoring it and resulted in the desire to abduct the king. In addition, many Bahrain people were unemployed while the government hired mercenaries from other countries for security forces. The Bahrain people protested in multiple ways such as civil resistance, demonstrations, general strikes, and nonviolent revolutions. However, these methods were often met with military resistance as the government used vehicles such as tanks and helicopters along with the assistance of military personal and security forces to suppress the uprising

OutcomesThe final outcomes of the revolution are yet to be discovered as the uprising is currently only being suppressed. Citizens are still enraged by the government as there are occasional demonstrations. However, almost every outcome from the current state of the revolution is disastrous due to the violence the government has shown. This includes the destruction of multiple religious structures, increase of mercenaries used in security forces, and the increased amount of tortured citizens who protested. There was also the destruction of the Pearl Roundabout which was a camp for the protesters that was promised to lay untouched by the government, but was still attacked and destroyed by the government months later. However, positive results also began to show. International media began to cover and watch Bahrain government as the citizens reported torture but the government denies these statements and denies access to international media journalists. The revolution is ongoing as of today and the final outcomes of the revolution are yet to be discovered.
